What is SMART GOALS ?
Specific: Make your goals specific and narrow
Example: Steve wants a Sales Manager in FMCG
Measurable: Quantifiable and evidence to make progress
Example: Steve in sales form last 4 years and He is going to apply 4 FMCG companies for position for Sales manager
Achievable: Whether achievable or not, for that particular position whether he posses reasonable qualifications or skills
Example: Steve Updated his resume with latest skills
Relevant: Goals should be align with values and long term objectives
Example: Steve wants improve his leadership skills and he has to be best in his domain, He has to brand himself
Time Based: Set goals with time constraint
Example: Steve wants his next position has a sales manager within months, and for this he updated his resume within a week and applied

Specific: ABC company is targeting, increase his sales by 10% within in a year
Measurable: To track his progress company hires 2 employees and assign sales job, and by improvement after next 6 months company will hire 2 more employees
Achievable: ABC company decides to increase his sales by 10% and revise its product costs and salaries of employees
Reasonable:Recently company sales improved by 1% and ABC company has good brand in market and good demand for ABC products in Market.
Time Based: ABC company decides to achieve target within a year and according that company hires employees for steady pace
